When planning lessons, my number one priority is creativity.  I like students of art to be challenged by the questions they are asking.  

 

How can they make their ideas visible?  

 

How can they execute their vision in a form that allows others to understand?

Some components I consider when planning of a successful lesson are:

• Critical and evocative Essential            Questions.​

• Engaged discussion which generates ideas.

• Ability to execute ideas with a variety of means (creative exploration of media.)

• Clear objectives & identifiable learning

• Experimentation
